Master of Science:

Admission test is usually applied at the beginning of June. Candidates must qualify Mathematics and Organic Chemistry (parallel attended) in June and July. Once completed all admission requirements, courses will begin in August.

2023:
Last day to full fill application requirements: May 26th
Admission test: May 29th at 10 AM Guide for preparing admission test
Interview with members of the faculty: from may 30th to june 2nd
Pre-courses (Organic Chemistry and Mathematics): June 19th to July 21st
Grades of pre-courses: July 27th
Beginning of courses: July 31st

Admission test to MSc program will be applied to students at Cinvestav-IPN, Campus Zacatenco in Mexico City. Foreign students that cannot be in Mexico City for the admission test must contact the assistant of the dean by sending an email to personalize the mechanism for applying the admission test.

Doctorate:

The admission test for those students that have gotten their MSc degrees in different institutions than the department of Cell Biology at Cinvestav-IPN can apply at any time in the year. The Doctorate program usually begins in February and August, according to the call for applying for a scholarship at The National Council of Science and Technology from Mexico (CONACyT). Therefore, we suggest applying for admission to our department before February or August.
